The sash windows in this traditional Georgian property in Somerset fill the room with natural light. To utilise this feature and maximise space, we crafted and hand-painted white storage units in the existing alcoves. Together, the contrasting island and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances provide a contemporary twist to the classic scheme. The high-level cabinets offer exceptional storage for items that aren’t used on a regular basis. We selected a traditional stone floor that worked well with the grandeur of the house.
